This product has the second rank of steel wire connections in terms of consumption after the Clip. Thimbles are used to reduce friction and extend the life of the steel wire rope.
Wire rope thimbles are installed in the eye section (rotation of the steel wire rope during connection) which prevents the steel wire rope from being worn from the inside.
Thimbles are located on the inside of the sling wire rope eye.
